He studied at the Vitebsk Folk Art School.

He was accepted as a professor-head of the preparatory workshop of VNHU, being a student.

1922

Together with other students of Kazimir Malevich, he moved to Petrograd and entered the Academy of Arts.

1923

He moved to Moscow and entered the sculpture department of VKhUTEMAS.
