Belarus is a country associated in the post-Soviet region with agriculture and collective farms. For many years, my friends and I would travel every year to the country’s main agricultural exhibition to accumulate pride in the power of our homeland’s agro industrial complex, to try all varieties of cabbage grown on our motherland and to increase the visibility of the queer proletariat in the struggle for the best harvest figures.
