Museum in Vitebsk, dedicated to the life and work of Marc Chagall. The museum consists of two buildings: the Marc Chagall House Museum and the Marc Chagall Art Center.

The Marc Chagall House Museum was opened in 1997. Its exposition contains household items from the turn of the 19th/20th centuries, as well as archival documents and the first works, personal belongings of the artist and his family.

The Marc Chagall Art Center (Sovetskaya st. 25) was established in 1992. Exhibitions of graphic works by Marc Chagall (lithographs, woodcuts, etchings, aquatints) are held here. The museum collection includes: a series of illustrations for N.V. Gogol's poem "Dead Souls" (1923-1925), a series of color lithographs on the theme "Bible" created in 1956 and 1960, a cycle of color lithographs "12 Tribes of Israel" (1960) and other works by Marc Chagall. It also houses a collection of printed graphics by prominent representatives of the European avant-garde. The center hosts scientific conferences, vernissages, lectures, concerts, performances by theater and circus groups, plein airs, as well as exhibitions of graphic works by emerging city artists. The building of the Art Center also houses a scientific library where you can find books about the life and work of Marc Chagall (opened in 2002).
