Sculptor, teacher.

A special place in the work was occupied by the theme of the Great Patriotic War, as well as the Kupala theme. The sculptor created a number of monuments to the poet, different in design and mood, scale and compositional solution.

For almost 30 years he worked as a teacher at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

He is a People's Artist of Belarus.

Lived and worked in Minsk.

Born in the city of Borisov , Minsk region (BSSR, now the Republic of Belarus) in a family of employees: his father was a doctor, his mother was a teacher. Studied at school №6.

1953

He came to Minsk and entered the sculpture department of the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts).

1962

He was admitted to the Union of Artists of the BSSR (now the Belarusian Union of Artists).

1972

He was included in the Soviet delegation that went to Cuba to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the formation of the USSR.

Became the People's Artist of the BSSR , the youngest among the Belarusian masters of fine arts.

1977

Received the title of Associate Professor at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

1981

Received a professor's degree .

February 3, 1989

Died in Minsk.
