Born in Minsk (BSSR, today the Republic of Belarus).

1978–1985

He studied at the Republican boarding school for fine arts and music named after I. O. Akhremchik (sculpture department), with a teacher L. G. Davidenko.

1987–1993

He studies at the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute (Department of Sculpture), with a teacher V. P. Slinchenko.

Since 1989

Participates in art exhibitions.

Since 1995

He is a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists.

1999

ArtLinks Fellow (Berkeley, USA).

2004

Fellow of KulturKontakt (Vienna).

Author of numerous works in the field of monumental and easel sculpture.

2019

Represented Belarus at the 58th Venice Biennale with his personal project Exit (curated by Olga Rybchinskaya).
