Monumental painter.

He studied at the Minsk Music School and performed at student concerts, performing encore works for the violin. he could have become a famous violinist, but the war began. the family was evacuated to Ulyanovsk. Mai painted signboards and slogans for the holidays for Ulyanovsk factories - for this they gave clothes and food.

Returning to Minsk, May had a clear desire to become an artist .
