Evgeny Krasovsky

1908 – 1980

Artist, Honored Worker of Culture of the BSSR.

He worked in various genres: thematic painting, costumes and scenery in the theater, landscapes, still lifes, wall paintings, mosaics, etchings, book graphics, sketches, bookplates, ceramics. He used different techniques, schools, directions: realism, impressionism, post-impressionism.

The works of E. E. Krasovsky are in the National Art Museum of Belarus, the Museum of Contemporary Fine Arts in Minsk, the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and in private collections.

Lived and worked in Minsk.

Krasovsky took part in all-Union art exhibitions in Moscow in 1946, 1950, 1957 and 1961.

Participated in the All-Union Printmaking Exhibition in Leningrad.
