She became the winner of one of the prestigious awards awarded to curators and critics of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the Igor Zabel Award in the field of culture and theory (Igor Zabel Association for Culture and Theory). “In recognition of her exceptional strength of resistance, commitment to the decolonization of Belarusian art, and belief that art is a practical tool for political imagination,” Antonina Stebur was recognized as one of three outstanding researchers of the new generation.
