The straw spider is a Belarusian craft tradition. Its symbolism is wonderful - it comes from the sacred spider, which according to legend was supposed to create the Universe, and the straw amulet itself is a fictitious ideal model of the Universe. It is also a symbol of the annual cycle and serves as a talisman that catches bad dreams, illnesses, curses and misfortunes. On the day of the winter solstice, it was supposed to be burned and a new straw spider hung in the same place. The bomb I made shows that there are curses that cannot be burned.
