Born in the village of Chemyry , Poland (nowadays a village in the Slonim district of the Grodno region, Republic of Belarus).

1957

Graduated from the Minsk Art College (now Minsk State Art College named after Glebov).

He began to take an active part in art exhibitions.

1966

Graduated from the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts). He studied with Andrei Bembel and Alexei Glebov, often met with Zair Azgur.

2002

For a significant contribution to the development of fine arts, achievements in the field of easel and monumental sculpture, he was awarded the Order of Francysk Skaryna .

2008

The honorary title of People's Artist of Belarus was awarded.
