Arkady Astapovich

1896 – 1941

Artist. He worked in the genre of graphics, in particular linocut, made a significant contribution to the development of the graphic landscape. He also created book and magazine illustrations and paintings.

Member of the All-Belarusian Association of Artists. More than 200 works by Astapovich are in the collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.

He lived and worked mainly in the village of Novoselki near Minsk and in Minsk.
