"In the basement of the neighboring, 17th, house, Sergey Kukhto created his first works of the Centaur cycle. This cycle went through his whole life, it expressed the unbearable pain of loneliness in a world alien to Sergey. The artist managed to raise the image of his hero above social conflict Kukhto's "Centaur" is a conflict of a metaphysical scale, a reflection on the place of man in the universe, passed through the artist's deeply personal experiences."
