He moved to Vilnius and opened the first printing house in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, where he published the “Little Travel Book” and the “Apostle”.

He served as a physician and secretary to the Vilnius Bishop John.

He accepted the offer from King Ferdinand I and became the court physician and gardener in the botanical garden of Hradcany Castle.
