Gallery TUT.BY started working . According to the artistic director of the gallery Katerina Savitskaya (interview dated July 1, 2010), “ TUT.BY Gallery was conceived and created exclusively as a non-commercial and has a social orientation. Therefore, we are starting with a charity project, and in the subsequent work of the gallery, we will arrange both charity projects and exhibitions of value to society.” During the short time of the gallery’s existence, one could see charitable projects and a press photo of Belarus in 2011, the “Feast of Disobedience” action with the participation of 14 artists, paintings by Tatiana Grinevich, Ekaterina Sumareva, Polish artist Piotr Yargush, an exhibition of the international triennial of environmental posters, graphics by Sergei Balenka, a photograph of Marina Batyukova, works by Anna Silivonchik, Vasily Peshkun, Anton Vyrvo, Vasily Zenko and other authors.
The presence of the gallery on the Internet is provided by the TUT.BY portal, which, as a rule, posts a video interview with the artist on the eve of the opening of the exhibition. Since the gallery exists in an office space where the portal employees are constantly working, most viewers visit the exhibition during the opening.
