The creators of the exhibition do not set themselves the task of telling in dry academic language about the history and theory of architecture. The project aims to show the evolution of architectural styles to a wide range of viewers through symbolic, emotional means.

All techniques characteristic of contemporary art, all methods of influencing the viewer - light, sound, spatial objects and installations, video art, works of art in various techniques and even the smells that form the basis of the exhibition, serve primarily the main goal - to evoke an emotional feeling in a person. the experience of space, because it is this that constitutes the essence of the aesthetic perception of architecture.

The exhibition will be based on works by both young and already well-known contemporary Belarusian authors, as well as works by Belarusian artists from the fund of the National Center for Contemporary Arts.

The logical conclusion of the project will be the immersive film “The World Through the Eyes of Gaudi.” It gives the viewer the opportunity to take a different look at the most famous works of the brilliant Spanish artist Antonio Gaudi. Architectural masterpieces, including the famous Sagrada Familia, will appear in a new way thanks to the projection of the film on the walls and floor of the multimedia hall.

Visitors will be able to go through an exciting thematic quest to immerse themselves in the exhibition, and inside the exhibition space they will find unique photo zones that are ideal for striking shots.

The partners of the exhibition project “Passion in Architecture” were the Belarusian State Academy of Arts and the Minsk State Art College named after A.K. Glebov.
