"Due to the 500th anniversary of Bobr Pushkin prepared a project of reconstruction Of his hometown. The artist's plan assumes, on the one hand, referring to the tradition and reconstructing certain buildings, and on the other hand, constructing new public utility buildings. Moreover, the project alludes to the local tradition, hence the idea of building a fountain showing a beaver with five offspring in the main square - the name "Bobr" may be translated into English as "beaver". Push-kin's ideas are treated as unrealistic and lack support on the part of the local au-thority. Eventually, the painting illustrating the artist's project has been exhibited in the library situated in the Town Hall building."
