2017 – 2021
The OK16 cultural hub is three former empty factory workshops of the Minsk Machine Tool Plant (16 Oktyabrskaya St.). In 2017, Belgazprombank bought them and began to develop a cultural site here. OK16 was positioned as an incubator of initiatives, an experimental space for the implementation of bold and large-scale social and cultural ideas. The TEART festival, the international IT conference EMERGE, numerous exhibitions and other events were held here.

The OK16 cultural hub is a place where we create and develop urban culture. We produce theatrical and performative productions, organize the rental of partner productions, hold exhibitions and film screenings, lectures and discussions, and also collaborate with other members of the cultural community on a rental basis.

The incubator of cultural projects and economic instruments of the future Ok16 is located in a historical building that previously belonged to the Minsk October Revolution Plant, located at the address: Minsk, st. Oktyabrskaya 16.

January 7, 2021

The Ok16 cultural hub has suspended its work. The formal reason was the order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
