A project of "fake" postcards, stylized as the aesthetics of the early 20th century, when the postcard not only captured the city view, landscape, landscape, but was also used to demonstrate the belonging of a particular place/city/settlement to the next host country. The project arose in the process of implementing a joint long-term research and exhibition project "Photographic Expedition", in which Belarusian photographers Igor Peshekhonov, Igor Savchenko and Dmitry Korol took part.

The hidden irony, which, if desired, can still be found in these postcards stylized in antiquity (with the help of special plugins for Photoshop), is that time in small towns of modern Belarus seems to be frozen, entangled in different eras...

"Belarusian Souvenir" was implemented as a publishing and printing project: a limited edition of postcard sets were printed in a super-cover (2011).
