This poster is a result of collaboration between the 2021 Martin Roth-Initiative fellow, philosopher Olga Shparaga, and artist Marina Naprushkina. It refers to the 2020 mass protests in Belarus, in which women played a key role. Olga Shparaga describes these protests in her book The face of the Revolution is Female: the Case of Belarus (Suhrkamp 2021), which is the sourse of the quote on the poster. Marina Naprushkina dedicates her series Chrysanthemums, roses, asters, gladioli (2022), also referensed in the poster, to these protests with female faces.
