In the people, warehouses are called storehouses.

Historical building in Vitebsk. In the 1990s, the In-formation festival was held in the space of the Salt Stores.

The main purpose of the warehouses was to store strategic stocks of flour, salt and grain. Initially, the structure of the complex included three buildings, which were interconnected by arches. But, unfortunately, only two of them have survived to this day - the central one and the right side one.

Warehouses were built in Vitebsk (Russian Empire, today the Republic of Belarus).

In post-war Vitebsk, army provisions were stored here for some time.

2013

The center of folk crafts "Zadvinye" was opened in the warehouses, becoming a kind of center of folk art. The work of handicraft workshops is organized here, an exhibition hall is opened, exhibiting arts and crafts.
