Start of the JOURNAL

Today – May 1, 2023 – we are pleased to present our new online magazine.

The research platform for Belarusian contemporary art is pleased to announce the launch of the JOURNAL, a tool designed as a space for publishing essays, interviews, polls, lectures, manifestos, news, and other materials. First and foremost, the magazine was conceived as a resource that would publish materials about Belarusian visual art, including both the latest trends and its history.

JOURNAL was developed by , who built several tools into the new resource, such as synchronization with , a system of pop-up windows and notes, support for searching by tags, a tool for automatic translation, lists of names mentioned in the publication, and institutions. Information pages about the platform have also been created.

The magazine as a tool was present in the previous version of the portal (2015–2020), within which we published news, as well as essays from projects and . We will also publish all our past essays on the new resource.

The new resource was developed with funding from the fund, with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office and Civil Society Cooperation.

We are open for cooperation and eagerly await your suggestions and materials. Let's create an archive together!
