TRANSIT.
All human discoveries, scientific and cultural discoveries, all invention and organization: from the shape and pattern of an antique vase to a living room sofa, from the latest vaccine to biodegradable coffee cups, customs between countries and the ability to build a dialogue between two completely different people—all of this is transit. It is a way for us to feel in touch with the authenticity of life in its full and solemn quality.
If something does not serve as a transit to hidden vitality, it is empty and vain: it only needlessly clutters time and space. In such a case, "there is no point in multiplying entities unnecessarily." And only those creations that proclaim this simple and inexhaustible factuality of being alive, that act as a transit to the celebration and mystery of life—only they have significance. Although at first it may seem that they have more immediate and direct goals, these goals ultimately lead to a greater fulfillment of life: they are transit. The center of life is one, located at any point. And everything can lead to it. In this place we all meet together.
