He studied at the Vitebsk Art College in the ceramics and painting department under Mikholap, Volkov, Kerzin, Lebedeva.

1930-1937

He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Painting of the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad , where his teachers were Osmerkin, Petrov-Vodkin and Naumova.

1938

He began working in Belarus : he led courses to improve the skills of young artists, actively participated in exhibitions, performed murals at the Opera and Ballet Theater of the BSSR, which are now lost.

1940

Became a member of the Union of Artists of the BSSR .

1948-1950

He worked as chairman of the board of the Union of Artists of the BSSR .

1943-1944

He worked at the headquarters of the partisan movement in Moscow , participated in the design of the publications "Partisan Club" and the satirical poster newspaper "Let's crush the fascist reptile."

He died in Minsk .
