Artist, graphic artist, teacher, works in easel painting in the genres of figurative painting, portrait, still life, monumental art, book graphics.

The artist's works are in the collections of art museums and galleries in Belarus, Russia, Norway and Germany, as well as in private collections in Belarus, Russia, Norway, Italy, Sweden, USA, Poland.

Lives and works in Minsk.

Born in the village of Ugolshchina, Mogilev Region (BSSR, now the Republic of Belarus).

1972

Graduated from the Republican College of Arts. I. Akhremchik.

Since 1973

Participant of all-Union, republican, foreign art exhibitions.

Graduated from the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts).

1980-1984

Trained at the branch of the Creative Workshops of the Academy of Arts of the USSR in Minsk under the guidance of M. Savitsky.

Membership in the Belarusian Union of Artists.

Since 1995

Academician of painting of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

Professor of the department of monumental and decorative art of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus for a series of paintings for the hall of ceremonial meetings of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble.

2013

He was awarded the medal of F. Skorina.

2020

The title of Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Belarus.
