"Understanding art can be difficult. The task becomes especially difficult when everyone around us mixes and changes concepts that are beginning to enter into widespread use. In the first part of the series of texts "Time to Act: Actionism, Performance, Activism" we, together with the artist Alexey Kuzmich, briefly ran through the main practices of action in art and recalled significant examples from the history of Belarus. This time, Alexey will focus in more detail on the differences between actionism and performance, on examples of protest activity after the defining events of 2020."
