Evgeny Shatokhin

1947 – 2012

Artist, public figure. He worked in the techniques of watercolor, drawing, etching, and lithography. The main theme of his works was Belarusian landscapes.

He was a member of the CCP-BPF Sejm. He was one of the first organizers of the liberation upsurge in the late 1980s, when throughout Belarus patriots formed the structures of the Belarusian People's Front "Adradzhenne".

The works are in the National Art Museum of Belarus (Minsk), the Museum of Contemporary Fine Arts (Minsk), the Historical and Cultural Museum (Zaslavl), the Museum of Belarusian Polesie (Pinsk), the Museum "Saved Art Values" (Brest), the N.
