Family as a Choice is a exhibition at Gray Mandorla Studio in Poznań, exploring intimacy, care, and communities formed in exile. Featuring 27 participants — artists and friends of the studio — the show presents artworks, artifacts, and personal relics linked to the idea of chosen family. Drawing on queer perspectives, ballroom culture, and self-organized practices from Minsk, the exhibition frames family as a space of support, mirroring, resistance, and co-authorship.
