Artist, graphic artist.

For more than forty years of creativity, the artist has illustrated more than sixty books by Belarusian and international authors.

His name is associated with the formation of the graphics department of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts and the creation of the Museum of Contemporary Fine Arts in Minsk. As the rector of the Academy, he was known for his uncompromising repressive policies, because of which dozens of students were expelled from the university.

He is a People's Artist of Belarus.

Born in the village of Kochany, Myadel district (BSSR, now the Republic of Belarus).

Graduated from the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarusian State Academy of Arts).

1967-1998

He taught at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.

He was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Arts of Belarus".

1989-1997
