He completed an internship as a laboratory assistant at the Phototec pro-photo center in the USA.

2006

He trained at photography centers in Wroclaw and at the Verse Beeldwaren photography studio in the Netherlands.

2001–2008

He worked in the educational photo studio "Krayavid" of the Minsk State Palace of Children and Youth.

since 2007

He is the founder and head of the Center for Photography and the School of Photography.

2010

Developed the concept and methodology of the "Photojournalism" program for the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University. The program was approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus in 2012.

2010–2013

Lecturer at the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University. Founder of the Coloroom laboratory.

2014

Alexei Shinkorenko's project "War Witness Archive" became the winner of the curatorial applications for the Belarusian pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale.

2015

The project was presented at the Venice Biennale.
